ART USB IV Overview

The ART USB IV is a 4-input / 4-output USB audio/MIDI interface offering high resolution, user-friendly functionality, and a compact footprint for songwriters, beatmakers, and musicians in personal, mobile, and project studios. It features four XLR-1/4" combo inputs with low-noise mic preamps and selectable phantom power—the first two support mic/Hi-Z signals, while the last two accommodate mic- or line-level signals.

The USB IV utilizes 32-bit A/D-D/A converters to deliver accurate audio quality at sample rates up to 192 kHz. Outputs include stereo 1/4" main outs and a 1/4" headphone port with independent level controls and separate audio feeds—great for sending to monitors and a dedicated cue mix. The 5-pin MIDI I/O sockets on the rear panel allow easy hookup to external MIDI equipment such as a keyboard, synth, or sound module.

A front-panel switch for input monitoring lets you listen to the input signal with low latency and no routing required. Custom transformers are utilized to inhibit system noise and ground loops for quiet, quality performance. The included Cubasis LE software is a digital audio workstation that provides recording, editing, and mixing functions, perfect for getting started on your own musical creations.

Does this result in 32-bit float or integer PCM recordings? Steinberg/Yamaha interfaces result in 32I, causing compatibility problems.

I have a rodecaster, and I want to be able to feed Zoom audio during my livestream out USB, into this box, out through the TRS, and into a mic input on the Rodecaster. Will that work?
Asked by: Sam
Yes you can do that. I am not sure exactly what you are trying to do, but if you are trying to allow communication between the mics connected to the Rodecaster Pro and Zoom; a much simpler solution would be to connect the Rodecaster Pro to the computer that you are using Zoom on via USB and then go to Preferences---> Sound and select the Rodecaster Pro as your audio input/output device for the computer. From there, anyone using mics connected to the Rodecaster Pro should be able to communicate with the caller(s) that you have on Zoom.
