This item worked perfectly and without fail for a month of daily use until one day it just stopped displaying anything mid day. Couldn't get it running again so now it's just a paperweight.

The Ocean Matrix HDMI 4 x 1 1080p Multiviewer with PIP & IR Control will default to HDMI input 1 upon boot, and it does not retain multiview after a power cycle.

Can this do a split of just two HDMI inputs 50/50 rather than a quad split?
Asked by: Jonathan
Yes, it has the ability to show a 50/50 split of 2 inputs. On the manufacturer website they show that the 50/50 splits are either with inputs 1 and 2 or with inputs 3 and 4.
