I've tried 2 batteries without success. The first one lasted until I tried to recharge it, but the second one never worked at all. Maybe the charger is bad also, but IMO no professional should risk their reputation with this light or the AD400 or the AD600. They all have TERRIBLE reliability with their batteries and/or chargers. I was forced to buy the AC adapters to make the others work, but the AD1200 doesn't have an AC adapter available AFAIK. Thank goodness, I don't have to depend on this unit's batteries for my reputation or living. Also there is NO US support for Godox other than your dealer. Try sending a message to them and you will find out the form rejects your phone number no matter how you format it. Coincidence?

Will this battery work with the Flashpont version of the AD1200 pro?
The Godox Battery for AD1200 Pro (36V, 2600mAh) is a little different. It might not work with the Flashpoint AD1200 pro. And it has not been tested.
