Wobbly

Adding the extension tube to my Sky Watcher alt-az mount made it wobbly. Increased damping time from two seconds to six seconds. The Sky Watcher alt-az mount is too short as is, without the extension. The eyepiece is too low. i bought the 6=7" extension tube to raise the eyepiece. This made a somewhat wobbly mount worse. The Sky Watcher mount has a poor strength to weight ratio. The mount is very heavy, but nor very strong. PLEASE SKY WATCHER, ADD ANOTHER SEGMENT TO THE LEGS AND GET RID OF THE EXTENSION TUBE!

Required Extension Tripod

This is required for the Sky-Watcher Star Adventurer, AZ-GTI & probably more like the AZ-GTe. It's necessary for preventing a refractor or other light weight tube from hitting the tripod. It's fairly easy to install once but a pain to do it again and again. There's one main threaded bolt to attach it to the tripod and 3 external bolts to attach to the head.
