If this has 3/8x16 threads on both ends, after screwing the base onto a tripod how does one mount the Astro head to the top ?
The Sky-Watcher Star Adventurer Tripod Extension has a 3/8 female for connecting to the tripod and a 3/8 male for connecting to the mount.
