The 552 Professional Rotary Trimmer from Dahle has a rotary blade that is encased within a plastic housing. The housing protects your hand from being cut while cutting paper. The trimmer can cut up to 20 sheets and to a cut length of 20". As you push or pull the blade, it self sharpens itself, and the trimmer can be used on a tabletop and then stored in an upright position thanks to it's kickstand endcaps.

This Dahle cutter cuts well and is worth your consideration. The slider is a tad stiff and placing paper under the guard is not as easy as one would expect. The cutter blade produces a very clean cut and I like the many paper sizes on the table.

Are the markings on the cutter in inches or cm? I bought a Dahle from B&H before, but it came in cm and I can't use it.
