Add value to your visuals in real estate, engineering, architecture, or construction markets using the MC250 Pro2 Professional 3D Camera from Matterport. The Pro2 allows you to create virtual 3D models and schematics of physical spaces, as well as edit and share them using the Matterport app and cloud service. Create virtual walkthroughs for your real estate clients looking for a new home or office, or present VR presentations for architecture clients to get ideas for future designs.
The Pro2 can shoot a 360° scan of a physical space in about 20 seconds, sends it to your iPhone or Android phone, and the Matterport software scans the data and stitches the images into a 3D model and 360° panorama. The software allows you to create walkthroughs, tours, schematic maps, and professional-quality 2D still capture output. The Matterport cloud service requires a separately obtained login and provides collaboration, customization such as metadata tags, modeling file export, and editing tools.
You can also create custom metadata and editing using the Matterport API, which allows the use of custom editing applications, connection to Google Street View, and uploading and viewing on other services such as real estate, VR, or modeling websites. Along with viewing the footage on your phone, browser, or editing application, you can also view 3D/VR footage using the Matterport VR application in a VR headset such as Oculus Go, or by using your iPhone or Android phone with Google Cardboard VR.
To enhance your image quality and overall coverage area, the Pro2 can work alongside the optional Leica BLK360 3D camera, and the images can be integrated, mapped, and stitched together with the Matterport app. The addition of the BLK360 allows for wider and longer image areas, as well as brighter and crisper imagery.

Matterport MC250 Pro2 Reviews
everything I expected
Timely arrival. Everything worked well!
Excellent
But must buy pro subscription to use camera
Exactly what I was looking for
I've been looking into getting one of these for awhile and with the price drop I jumped on the opportunity and I'm glad I did. The camera is very easy to setup with the app and it looks great! Can't wait to start doing more real estate virtual tours.
Quality scan, Some hiccups.
Camera definitely takes some getting used to. B&H shipped it very quick and secure. Quality is phenomenal, just needs to work out some scan issues. Sometimes has connectivity issues, have to restart camera to resolve. Seems would need to remove closet doors to get an accurate scan everywhere, or you have calibration issues if you open them to scan in after.
Matterport MC250 Pro2 Professional
This is my second Matterport camera, the first one was a MC250 Pro2 Lite. The batter life is so much better with the Professional, could not be happier!
Great work tool
Performs better than expected. Cube lights added to the top help with low light conditions.
Amazing tech for the future of spacial mapping
This truly is a game changer for so many industries. I had my first virtual tour done in a few hours of receiving the kit from B&H.
I like it so far, but you should know....
Well I have to say this is not a tool of a photographer, but can be of help for one. The camera has two buttons and the process is delivered straight from the device you download the files from and you have installed the app so anyone can do it. The step by step guide is easy to follow and it only take a couple of places scanned to understand what you have to do, how you need to do it and how to fix minor issues. But you should be aware that if you get the VR headset listed as compatible it will not work because the Spieltek VR-M2 is just for viewing and with Matterport dollhouses you need controls to move in the virtual model. The headset you should get is the one that Matterport recommends: The Oculus Quest 2 a much more expensive unit that does include the controls. Also know that some of the new features of the camera are still on Beta so they may not work 100% as expected. Another thing is the camera requires a paid subscription to be able to deliver your work to collaborators, teem members or clients so you may have to other than recovering your investment, understand that the camera has some operation costs that you must pay for monthly or yearly, because the free program does not allow sharing links or adding new jobs. It still is a great camera but information about it seems to come partly too late. https://my.matterport.com/show/?m=fJvZ4Sy5J3h
