    Rolls MP13 reviews

MP13 Mini Microphone Preamp is rated 3.8 out of 5 by 8.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Overall, a good preamp... We are using this preamp to amplify a talkback microphone. It's a little hissy. There could be a few more dB of gain for use with dynamic mics. Not quite good enough for professional use. OK for the money.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Small and easy Does what it's supposed to. I just use the 1/8 input and 1/4 output, so I can't comment on phantom power, but this works great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what I needed at a great price. I use this preamp for a desktop computer microphone. An AUDIO TECHNICA (which I also purchased at B&H). The phantom power works great for this mic which I directly connected to the line input of my computer rig using and XLR to 3.5mm mini adapter. As an Adobe Cloud subscriber I use Adobe Audition to record and edit sound files from this mic. It all works wonderfully. Highly recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great spare channel Our group sometimes play in small venues where we can't bring in our big mixing boards. We have a Mackie 1202 mixer that we use for this application as well as parades. We needed one more line input to handle our Green Bullet mic. The Rolls MP13 Preamp was a great solution to ad this mic to one of the unbalanced inputs on the Mackie 1202 mixer. I now have a very happy 'Harp' player.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It's ok at best If you have limited funds and a need a pre-amp, then go for it.. It's noisy, but it gets the job done. That being said, if you have some extra cash, go for the Sound Design MM-1. It's simply amazing.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Mic preamp Noisy, but it was cheap, you get what you pay for.
