Available for download, Waves MultiMod Rack is a 3-slot rack-style plug-in that hosts specific Waves distortion/saturation modules. Each slot can house the Abbey Road Saturator, the Berzerk distortion plug-in, or any module within MDMX such as the Screamer.
Additionally, the MultiMod rack separates your signal into low, mid, and high frequency bands, giving you true multiband control. That means you can use this software to add harmonic coloration to a specific part of the frequency spectrum, with a high degree of control. Moreover, the multiband section offers adjustable crossovers, so you can choose which frequencies get the flavor.
Making matters all the more creative, the software offers five powerful modulators for ideosyncratic manipulation over almost every parameter within each module. Use the LFO, sequencer, and more to achieve feats of esoteric sound-design. When you're nearly done, turn to the post-processing EQ-section to give your sound a final polish, or mangle the signal even further by modulating this EQ.
This software is compatible with Mac and Windows operating systems. It will work in VST, AU, Audio Suite, and AAX formats.
