Oben TT-200 Tabletop Tripod

The Oben TT-200 Tabletop Tripod provides a sturdy base of support for shooting from a tabletop or other raised surface – or set the TT-200 on the ground or floor to achieve stable low-angle shots. Constructed of aluminum for lightweight strength, the TT-200 could be ideal for macro or product photography with most DSLR cameras. With the included mini ball head, load capacity of the system is 6 lb.

Turning the twist lock enables you to raise the extension column of the TT-200. The height range of the tripod is 9.5 to 14.5". For storage or for tossing it in a backpack, the extension column retracts into the main center column, which in turn retracts through the chassis. With the legs folded, the retracted TT-200 measures a compact 10" long.

The tripod's mini ball head mounts most cameras, including point & shoot models, to its 1/4"-20 screw. A single lever loosens the ball so that you can smoothly adjust the tilt and pan. The ball pans 360° and a groove allows the head to tilt 90° in one direction for portrait orientation.

Xuma Smartphone Mount

Take your smartphone photography to the next level with a Xuma Smartphone Mount. This mount fits devices 2.4 to 3.25" wide, holding them in place with a spring-loaded bracket with a rubber coating to protect your device's finish. It features three 1/4"-20 standard tripod threaded holes: one at the top, one at the bottom, and one on the back. This lets you mount your device to a tripod or monopod while still being able to attach 1/4"-20-compatible peripherals, like lights and microphones.

Oben TT-200 Reviews

great little tripod

I used to use a flimsy little tabletop tripod and then I saw this was on sale. I am so happy that I purchased it. I have already used it a few times and know that I will be using it more. I threw the older flimsy one in the trash. Light weight and small package. Great for traveling.

Sturdy and well made.

I have not had any issues with the ability of this tripod to hold and maintain the positions which I use it in. I seems to be well made with metal parts, not plastic. I would recommend this to anyone that is looking for a convenient table top tripod.

question

Can I shoot straight down with this tripod without tipping forward? Thanks, Chuck
Asked by: Charles
Yes subject to camera, This is fine with Sony A6000 16-70 lens. A bit of weight on the back leg and you could go to a heavier lens or sightly bigger camera, but not DSLR.

question

Looking for tripod to take on my kayak and to do macro -I have mono pod w Oben quick release plate -can I use it on this as well ?
Asked by: Anonymous
Hi, Pretty courageous move to take your camera on a kayak, hats off to you. I purchased the Oben TT-200 to use with a Leica D LUX 6, the ballhead provided with the TT 200 mounts to any camera body that supports the 1/4 screw mount. Your Oben quick release plate will not adapt to the TT 200 ballhead. However, you can remove your monopods bullhead and mount it to the TT 200 pole. Thats the way youll be able to use your quick release feature and plate. Happy Kayaking Thumbs upKind Regards Srecko

question

Can the column be unscrewed from the base?
Asked by: Brian
Yes to both questions Brian. The center shaft is about 88 mm long with ball attachment and bottom o-ring cushioned stopper removed by easily unscrewing one or both. A very good utility travel tripod for a full size SLR.
