This question is specifically for the “Oben CTT-1000 Carbon Fiber Tabletop Tripod and Xuma Smartphone Mount Kit”. Does this combo kit include all the components usually provided in the stand-a-lone “Oben CTT-1000 Carbon Fiber Tabletop” e.g. the center post attachment and storage pouch, etc?
It does come with everything the stand alone Oben CTT-1000 tripod normally has like the center post, plates, screws and hex keys. However, neither the stand alone tripod or this kit come with a tripod pouch.

Has anyone carried this on an airplane flight? It seems like the perfect travel tripod but I worry about the spikes with TSA.
I won't think it would be a problem, but if you had to, you could check it at the gate. Make sure you have it in a nice padded bag.

In all the videos I've seen, each sub-segment of the legs is either fully extended or fully retracted. I anticipate doing a lot of macro work on uneven surfaces; can the leg segments be locked at intermediate lengths, or is each all-or-none?
