The LP-63N Replacement Lens Foot for AF-S NIKKOR 500mm f/4G ED VR Lens from Kirk slides directly into the lens collar mount and locks into place by tightening the locking knob. The lens foot is compatible with most Arca-type clamps and heads. The double-dovetail design allows other Arca-type accessories to attach to the bottom or the top of the foot. The foot also allows the lens hood to mount in the reverse without bumping into it, for storage. The 6061-T6 aluminum foot has a black anodized finish including a powder coating, which makes it resistant against scratches and corrosion. In addition, safety stops located on the bottom of the foot prevent the lens from accidentally being pulled when the clamp is partially open.

Kirk LP-63N Reviews
Solid replacement foot!
I’ve had the replacement foot on my Nikkor 400mm 2.8e for about a week now, and so far, it has held up pretty great. It’s sturdy and well crafted. It’s fairly priced and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a replacement foot for their telephoto lenses. Thank you!
Out of balance
I bought this plate on recommendation from B&H website when I purchased my Nikon 180-400mm. Nice plate, beautiful craftsmanship, the prices is just right except it is not well balanced for my 180-400mm f4 attached to D850 with battery grip on GK Katana Professional Gimbal , I didn't try it with any other Nikon camera body so probably balances better with other camera body ! I ended up using the Jobu design , the link is below! This is not bad advertising for Kirk stuff, just a review of the item! I completely love Kirk stuff, I have tons of them and I enjoy using them full time. https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1300477-REG/Replacement_Foot_for_Select_Nikon_FL
