Shure SB903 Overview

The Shure SB903 is a rechargeable lithium-ion battery that powers any SLX-D transmitter for up to 8 hours. When using the SB903, the transmittter's LCD shows the remaining battery time in minutes and seconds.

The battery can be recharged using an SBC10-903 single-battery charger or an SBC203 dual-docking recharging station (both available separately). The SBC203 offers comprehensive power management, letting you charge two batteries without removing them from the transmitters.

These SHURE SB903 Batts -Weigh less -Last longer -And have an accurate Remaining Time Shown in Minutes/Seconds For me they’re a better Batt for my Shure SLXD15 Digital Camera-Mount Wireless System with Bodypack (BH #SHSLXD15H55 | now discontinued) I’m using them in place of the “Black” Panasonic Eneloop Pro AA Rechargeable NiMH Batteries (2550mAh).

Lasted all day!

What is the overall life of the battery before it stops holding a charge?

Shure hasn't provided details on the 903, however, below is what Shure says about the 900 series: Shure Contact: Toll Free Phone (U.S. only): 1-800-516-2525 An accurate estimate is elusive as it depends upon multiple variables, such as storage temperature, storage capacity, actual usage, etc. Shure estimates that a single SB900 may have a maximum of up to 500 pro-rated cycles. One full cycle is the complete discharge of the SB900, followed by complete charge to "full." As an example: the SB900 has a "expected battery life cycle" of about 12 hours. If the SB900 is used for 4 hours, then charged charged to "full" after each 4 hour use, it would take 3 usages to equal a 1 full cycle. "4 hours" times "3 uses" = 12. A Shure customer reports using the SB900 for 170 hours of operation and the battery indicates a health rating of 97%.

Yes, the Shure SB903 Rechargeable Lithium-Ion Battery is compatible for use with Shure SLX-D Wireless Transmitters. The battery can be charged while inside of the handheld transmitter when using a charging dock like the Shure SBC203 Dual-Docking Recharging Station for SB903 Batteries & SLX-D Transmitters (B&H # SHSBC203US).
