GyroVu GV-USB Overview

The USB to Canon LP-E8 Dummy Battery Intelligent Cable from GyroVu allows the use a USB power source to power devices that use a Canon LP-E8 battery, providing continuous camera operation in applications where stopping to change batteries is not suitable. This dummy battery fits into the camera's existing battery socket and features a 40" USB power lead, and the built-in emulator chip delivers battery status data to the camera.

Proper operation of this adapter requires a USB power source with a minimum 5V/2A output, however 5V/3A is recommended.

I use it to power my Canon T3i as a webcam. No issues yet. Just make sure you have a USB brick with enough power (3A).

This is not compatible. The Blind Spot Gear Power Junkie is meant to power devices through it's DC barrel port. This would only attach to the USB of the Power Junkie and will not put out enough power to power the camera.
