Godox FV150 Overview

By B&H Photo's

If you know that you want a full-featured monolight but can't decide whether to go with flash or continuous light; well, you can have both with the FV150 High Speed Sync Flash/Daylight LED Monolight from Godox. In continuous mode the unit has a 5600K color temperature and is dimmable from 0-100% with a CRI/TLCI rating of 96/97, indicating high accuracy in color reproduction. The light outputs up to 58,000 lux at 3.3' with its included reflector. It also has eight special effects that include Storm variations, TV, and Broken Bulb.

In flash mode the FV150's color temperature is again, 5600K and power can be adjusted from 1/16 to full power. It supports high-speed sync at speeds as short as 1/8000 second. You can make these changes in continuous or flash mode. The FV150 is ready for worldwide use via its 100 to 240 VAC power supply. A standard Bowens-mount reflector with an umbrella channel is also included.

What is the incandescent equivalent? Will this work with a Godox X1 transmitter?
Asked by: stephen
LED to incandescent is loosely a 5:1 ratio, that would make this about a 750w incandescent light. Yes a X1 will work.

Can I use this Godox FV150 or FV200 with Yongnuo Trigger/Receiver (RF603CII) on Canon 5D or 6D?
Asked by: uribi
Yes. As the Godox FV150 High Speed Sync Flash LED Light has a 1.8" (3.5mm) sync terminal on the back of the unit, you may use the Yongnuo RF-603C II Wireless Flash Trigger Kit for Canon 3-Pin Connection with the Canon EOS 5D or 5D DSLR cameras. you may connect one of the transceivers to the camera's hot shoe, and you may purchase a sync cable such as the Impact Sync Cord Male Mini (3.5mm) to Male PC (1'), B&H # IMMMPCM1, to connect the other transceiver to the sync terminal on the Godox FV150 to wirelessly trigger the light fixture.

Does Godox FV150 work (as flash) with Canon ST-E3-RT transmitter?
Asked by: adam
The Godox FV150 (as well as other Godox strobes and speedlights) only communicate with other Godox products and triggers. To trigger this wirelessly, you'd need one of their X-series transmitters.

This might be a stupid question. But I'm looking to buy a longer power cord for this product. Is this something you can buy and if so where? or is it better to do an extension cord? If so, what kind of voltage extension cord would I buy ? Thanks in advance.
Asked by: Faith
Yes, you could use an extension cord with the Godox FV150 High Speed Sync Flash LED Light (B&H# GOFV150V2). Should you prefer to use a longer power cord instead for reasons of safety, sureness of connection, or convenience, that's also possible. Either way, the cord you'll choose should be rated for the AC voltage at which the FV150 will be operating. Some examples are below, but you should also feel free to contact us by phone, email, or chat if you'd like an orange one, one that's of a different length, or one with a non USA plug (e.g. European, UK, Australian, South African, etc.). 25' AC Power cord C2G 18 AWG Universal Power Cord (NEMA 5-15P to IEC C13, 25') (B&H# CA1471) https://bhpho.to/3tukR1D 25' AC Extension Cord Watson AC Power Extension Cord (16 AWG, Black, 25') (B&H# WAACE1625BU) https://bhpho.to/3DYzhvX
