Will the manfrotto 200 PL-Pro (Arca Swiss/Manfrotto RC2) plate work for this? I'm hoping to use this in a run and gun scenario where I need to quickly release my camera from this smallrig system and it on a manfrotto RC2 slider set up. Thank you!
While it may be possible, I cannot guarantee for certain that the Manfrotto 200PL-Pro Aluminum Plate will work with the SmallRig Universal 15mm LWS Support Baseplate with Quick Release Plate. Manfrotto states that the Manfrotto 200PL-PRO Aluminum Plate will work with "almost all tripod heads on the market featuring Arca-style attachments." Typically, there are little to no issues with quick release clamps that use a screw-knob locking mechanism, but there may be issues with quick release clamps that use lever-type locking mechanisms (such as the SmallRig Universal 15mm LWS Support Baseplate) As such, it would be recommended to purchase the quick release clamp and personally test it with your quick release plate. If it does not work, do note you would have 30 days from the original purchase date to return the clamp for an exchange or a refund.

The baseplate itself (referring to the whole assembly) does not natively fit any quick release system, but you can mount a 501 plate to it through its 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 mounting points. If you're asking about the quick release plate/system that is outfitted at the top of this assembly, then no. It is an arca-swiss standard quick release plate/system.

I just tried this: It WILL block the battery access door on a GH5 and GH5s. If you want to remove or install a battery, you must first detach the camera from it's the locking assembly.

No, the SmallRig Universal 15mm LWS Support Baseplate with Quick Release Plate's quick release receiver and plate cannot be reoriented so that the mount is perpendicular to the 15mm rod mounts.
