Benro BAT Zero Series Tripod with VX20 Ballhe... Reviews
per usual, pros and cons
Pros: -light -quick locks work pretty well -ball head is fairly fluid -stable, when tightened up (of course) Cons: -quick locks tighten to the left, so my right tight/left loose brain routinely has to focus on that or end up chasing loosened locks -probably my biggest beef is the ball head bubble level is almost useless as the bubble is far too small for the red bullseye and whatever is the material and internal composition, it is stunningly dim/dingy. Not suggesting the level be backlit, but it should be readily visible and functional. There are any number of levels out in the wild that meet the low bar of simply being usable in more than the brightest, most direct light. As it is, I'm looking for a replacement level...good luck with that, right? Of course, none of this reflects on B&H, which has been and remains one of my favorite, most reliable sites for tech-related buys.
Best tripod I have owned
Definitely the best tripod I've ever owned. The aluminum version is light, sturdy, and is versatile. I'm glad I bought it because I can take it in my backpack all the time without hurting my back.
