Why is it continuous stills are limited to 10 fps ...

Why is it continuous stills are limited to 10 fps if the camera is capable to record 4K 10-Bit Intra @600 Mbps?
Asked by: Peter
Image files are still larger than video files. They record the full 12 Megapixels of the sensor as opposed to the 8 Megapixels recorded during video. I cannot categorically say this is the reason, but I would guess it has something to do with it.

Does the A7siii has 'syncro scan' feature? Where you can dial out LED flicker from various lights. Haven't found a mentione of it on Google or YouTube yet.
Asked by: jamie
Unfortunately this is a function that is only in the Sony A1 at this point. The A7S3 does not have this function.

What does the B in the model number stand for? Grey market?
Asked by: Hans
This SKU is actually a Sony US SKU, so this is not a gray-market or imported item. In this case, the "b" would probably stand for "body", whereas in some of their other SKUs, it might denote coming with a lens. For example, A7SIII body-only ILCE7SM3/B: https://bit.ly/3a7D1Ph (Sony's page with the SKU) versus the A7C: https://bit.ly/3neZLjX ILCE7C (body-only) ILCE7CL (with lens)

Have the lens adapters improved for the Sony A7S III camera? I have three Canon EF lenses I'd love to use with this camera.

Not for run and gun filming if you need auto focus. If you're pulling focus...yes you'll be fine.

Will the ninja V support the 16 bit raw output mentioned in this camera?
Asked by: Carlos Hugo
In the Sony announcement video, they said the ninja V will support it in the future. Might want to wait for more news though because I though the ninja V would have a hardware limitation on that

The IBIS and the OSS work together to optimize the stabilization, Although the IBIS does do the primary work to stabilize.

My Sony level II 128gB V60 277mb/sec cards won’t ...

My Sony level II 128gB V60 277mb/sec cards won’t work in my A7siii. My Sandisk Pro level I cards work but won’t do 10bit. So this means you only can use the new express A cards?
Asked by: Rod
Just to be clear, my Sony UHS II cards do not work in this camera. I believe it is the exact card 12 down on the submitted B&H shopping page. If I format it in my a9 (where it does work), it still does not work in the new camera. It is not just that one. I have four of them. You cannot format the card in the new camera. The entire screen is immediately blocked with the message. Until someone can prove to me otherwise, you have to use a CF card, or record externally.
