Can you use Rode's VXLR to convert the SC11's ...

Can you use Rode's VXLR to convert the SC11's 3.5mm output to an XLR output? Furthermore, will doing so combine the left and right channels of the 3.5mm output to a single combined mono XLR output?
Asked by: Alan
We do no recommend the use of the VXLR with this cable, as phasing issue could occur. If looking to connect two mini jack based receivers to XLR connections, we'd recommend going into two separate XLR connections on the camera/ recorder if possible, or use an actual mixer with a mono output option such as BH #KOCMX1V2 then the VXLR adapter.

Can this be used to send signal from 1 microphone (like Rode VideoMicro) to 2 recorders (like Zoom F1)? If yes - then how the recorders' "plug-in power" should be set? 1 On, 1 Off? Both On? Does it matter?
Asked by: 10
I would not expect that plug in power will work at at all.

Tried using with Rode Wireless Go mics, but sounds is only being picked up from one mic (black side). Is there any way to fix this?
Asked by: Ellen
This cable : Rode SC11 Right-Angle 3.5mm TRS Y-Splitter Cable (10.9") BH #ROSC11 Is a "Mono to Stereo cable". It is designed to take two Mono signals and split them to the Stereo input of a camera If you do not have two, discreet or independent Mono signals, fed into the two 3.5mm connectors, separately, as Mono signals into each connector, you will NOT get both Left and Right to the destination.

Would this work with the RodeLink receivers?
Asked by: Braden
. This cable will connect ANY two receivers, using the 3.5mm connector on two receivers to the stereo input of a camera which has a 3.5mm STEREO mic input (nearly all cameras are stereo) connector.

Will this work connected to 2 Rode receivers (so I want to record 4 transmitters), to my Sony A7R5, (4 channels of audio)?
Asked by: Pali
The RODE SC11 Right-Angle 3.5mm TRS Y-Splitter Cable is designed for connecting the mono outputs of two devices and sending it to separate channels on a device with a single 3.5mm TRS mic input. The SC11 will carry only two channels of audio. It can be used to connect the mono (combined) output signal from two dual-channel wireless receivers, like the RODE Wireless GO II Microphone System, to the mic input on a camera such as the Sony a7R V Mirrorless Camera. The audio carried by the cable will have the combined audio from one system on the left side and the combined audio the second system on the right side.
