Decent for light duty

Love smallrig. good price, good quality. This item is ok for a small monitor, light or mic. Only has one screw and a rubber friction grip to keep it from twisting. Locking cold shoe part is nice, works well. I wouldn't put anything too heavy or that needs to twist in it though.
Great Product

Does exactly what it is made to do and you can tighten it down so it stays in place.

Will this hold Godox iT30 ProF without harming the pins and without wobble? Thank you!
Mostly made of metal, the SmallRig Multifunction Shoe Mount with Safety Release (B&H# SMMFCSMSR) is designed for durability and therefore best for use with less sensitive flash "feet" (i.e., male hot shoe accessory attachments) such as metal ones or those made with plastic only (i.e., no thin and brittle metal contacts). While I would not expect damage to occur soon, over a longer period of time those tiny metal contacts in the front of many such flash "feet" could become damaged due to repeated contact and movement where the latter involves bumping up against that metal Multifunction Shoe Mount. Therefore, for longer term use you may wish to put a product with a plastic area where those thin front metal contacts are located between the "foot" of the flash and the Multifunction Shoe Mount. We'd recommend the Kaiser Hot Shoe to PC Adapter (B&H# KAHSPCA) for that purpose.
