SmallRig 3000 Overview

Protect and secure the HDMI cable on your Sony a7S III camera with this HDMI Cable Clamp from SmallRig. The durable aluminum clamp is compatible with the SmallRig 2999 cage for the Sony a7S III camera.

The clamp is designed to prevent the HDMI cable from pulling or accidentally disconnecting. It mounts onto the side of the cage using one 1/4"-20 screw, which is secured with two anti-twist pins to prevent twisting. The cables are secured with an easy-grasp, knurled 1/4"-20 screw. The screw adjusts a sliding block that can be tightened to accommodate different cable diameters. An Allen wrench is included to secure the mounting screw.

I bought this for an A7IV...

I bought this for an A7IV... I'm almost certain that SmallRig uses the same cage for their A7IV that they use for their A7SIII, with a slight difference in mounting, so I thought I'd take the chance. It does work... but only with the right cables. Thicker, traditional HDMI Cables Secure the best. I would return it, but I don't mind having it around, just in case. 5 stars as I'm sure it works great on the A7Siii.

SmallRig website full Sony A1 cage setup shows this and states it is compatible with the A1.....It is definitely not. I have all of the parts in the kit and there is no change to mount this on the cage and reach the port. Just FYI.

Yes, The SmallRig HDMI Cable Clamp for Sony a7S III MFR #3000 will also support the Smallrig A7IV cages.

as long as the cage has a mounting hole that lines up with the HDMI port you should be able to use the SmallRig HDMI Cable Clamp
