What are the dimensions of the screen when folded?
It will fold to a circle of about 2 feet in diameter.Note: I hardly use this item because it is too small, it is hard to record someone in this size without missing out on the edge. I finally bought a Green screen of size 12x12, with the heavy duty frame.

What kind of fabric is it?
It feels sort of like a thin lycra-spandex. Good quality. I have 8-10 of them that my student use in our AV Tech. class. They have held up well with the exception of the cases. The cheap carrying case zippers broke almost immediately.
