This iteration of the black Pelican 1525AirWF Hard Carry Case is designed for you to maximize its available space while providing customized protection for your valuable gear. You get the 15255 case with a Pick-N-Pluck foam insert that allows you to customize the interior to your specific gear to ensure it is fully protected. By giving you the freedom to remove pieces of the foam, you're able to precisely fit your equipment to eliminate any shifting during handling.
Built for strength and portability, the black Pelican 1525AirNF Hard Carry Case is designed to be dustproof, fully watertight, and crushproof to protect your valuable gear against the harshest handling, shipping, and environmental conditions on the planet. This edition of the 1525Air comes lined, but without foam or other inserts, allowing you the freedom to completely customize the 20.5 x 11.3 x 6.75" interior to your specific needs and to your specific gear.
Your case is made of a super-light proprietary HPX2 polymer, with honeycomb structural elements, which is up to 40% lighter than most other Pelican polymers and has newly designed dual push-button latches that provide ease-of-use versus previous iterations. Case design features include an O-ring that seals it to an IP67-rating to be dust and waterproof, dual 5/16" (8mm) diameter stainless steel reinforced padlock holes, and a pressure relief valve. This valve regulates the internal pressure, keeping your gear and the case from getting crushed and allowing you to open the case without having to break a tough pressurized seal that may develop. A polycarbonate card holder may be placed on the front or side of the case.
Designed for their 1525Air case, the Pelican 3-Piece Foam Set can be used to replace the foam that came with your case. It can also be used if you need to put different gear in it than originally intended, or as an option if you bought the case without foam. This set consists of a convoluted egg crate foam lid insert, a base layer for the bottom of the case, and one piece of customizable Pick N Pluck foam. Pelican recommends that you leave at least an inch of foam between your gear and the inside walls of the case to make sure it is well protected.
