The MP-365C Carbon Fiber Monopod from Leofoto is a five-section camera support with a maximum height of 69.1". The 1.3 lb monopod is constructed with a 10-layer carbon fiber weave and designed to hold up to 37.5 lb. Featuring a comfortable foam grip and wrist strap for a secure grip, this monopod is capable of supporting cameras with large telephoto lenses. The rubber foot prevents it from sliding on smooth surfaces and is removable so you can replace it with a separately available steel claw, spike, or other accessory to get the best traction on any given terrain. When not in use, turn the ergonomic twist locks to collapse the support to 19.5" for easy transport and storage. The threaded mounting stud on the top of the monopod features a reversible 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 screw, making it universal for most cameras and lenses.

I use this to help stabilize my heaviest camera/lens setups while remaining flexible to move around. I don't think I'll ever need to replace it, but if I do, I'm buying another of the exact same one.

I bought this monopod mainly to use during a wildlife photo workshop during which there will be limited opportunity to set up a tripod. I have practiced with the monopod as the support for my Fuji X-H2 camera and 150-600 lens, which is a 3.5-pound beast. The monopod, paired with a nice Leofoto head, is incredibly robust and handles the large-lens setup with no problem. I recommend this monopod without any hesitation.

Can you remove the wrist strap (without cutting it off)? I bought this model and the top platform seems like it doesn't unscrew.
Unfortunately, the Leofoto MP-365C 5-Section Carbon Fiber Monopod's camera/tripod head mounting platform cannot come off.
