SmallRig BSS2636 Overview

Add support and accessory mounting to your Zhiyun-Tech WEEBILL-S handheld gimbal with this Extension Handgrip from SmallRig. This ergonomic aluminum and silicone handle enables you to shoot comfortably from a variety of angles, including high- or low-mode shots. It incorporates several 1/4"-20, 3/8"-16, and ARRI-style anti-twist accessory threads, as well as one shoe mount for attaching accessories.

The WEEBILL-S handgrip features a 1/4"-20 thumbscrew mount with two locating pins for a secure fit. Additional features include a rubber-padded mount that protects your gimbal from scratches, a comfortable rubber grip, and an Allen wrench with a built-in storage slot.

I was glad to find this custom-designed grip to increase functionality of my WEEBILL-S and to hopefully help prevent dropping or damage to the gimbal when running and gunning.

Having this in addition to the tripod handle that comes with the WEEBILL-S is pretty much necessary, in my opinion. Being able to mount a monitor on the end is also quite handy. Would definitely recommend it. Feels sturdy and well built but not too too heavy. Good stuff.

This product is for the Zhiyun-Tech WEEBIL-S gimbal. Therefore its performance on another manufacturer's gimbal is unknown.

This is designed specifically for the back handle on the Weebill-S. It may not work properly for the Ronin-S and we do not recommend it. Here is a link showing a photo of how it works. https://bit.ly/32zzRzl

No. This does NOT work properly on a Weebil 2. The locating pins are NOT retractable and get in the way of mounting properly on the Weebil 2. I am trying to find a way to pull them out so the retractable pin on the Weebil 2 can land in one of the holes left by the pins I remove on the SmallRig.
