I have two large monitors I use for video and photo editing. I use external drives for most data storage so I am really just operating off my laptop for a computer. The extra display ports and the USB 2.0 slots make it sooo much easier to work at home. I have plenty of places to plug in drives, card readers, drawing tablet, keyboard, mouse. I haven't had an issue. All the ports work and are recognized. I am on a 2024 macbook pro.

Third Monitor would not work

I bought the j5create Triple Display docking station to hook up 3 monitors to my laptop. However, the slot for the third monitor would not work. I switched out the cord for the second monitor and it work, so I know that the monitor itself is working. It is not getting any data to display. It works to display 2 monitors, but not the third.

It seems the Acer Spin 713 has a Thunderbolt 4 port. The Dock will work but there are 3 ports that will not work since it requires an installation of a driver which is not available for ChromeOS (HDMI/VGA/Mic). The rest of the available ports will work.

Does it work with Lenovo Laptop, and charging it? because the Laptop power plug is through the one single 1 x USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C Port. Thanks

That will depend on the model of your Lenovo if the USB-C port on the computer will support "Power Delivery" over USB-C for pass-through charge for the USB-C power-in port on the Dock to work correctly. Please refer to the manufacturer of your hardware for more information on your device.

Yes, you can use the j5create USB Type-C Triple Display Docking Station BH #J5JCD543 with this power adapter from iogear: IOGEAR GearPower 100W USB Type-C GaN Charger BH #IOGPAWC100W A USB C cable is not included so you would need to also get that. No, the MacBook Pro 2012 must have a Thunderbolt 3 port to be able to use the JCD543.

The JCD543 works with computers that supports DisplayPort Mode and Power Delivery over USB-C and an installation of a driver for HDMI/VGA/Mic. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee full functionality with a Atem Mini Pro device.
