Yes, you can use the Zoom ZDM-1 mic and headphones with your Galaxy Note 9, but you will need a mobile interface in order to connect the mic and headphones to your smartphone. You can use an interface like the TC-Helicon GO VOCAL Microphone Preamp for Mobile Devices (B&H #TCGOVOCAL), IK Multimedia iRig Pre Microphone Interface (B&H #IKIRIGPRE) or similar interface device. This will provide a preamp for the mic and give you a headphone output with volume control to monitor the audio.

This is just a microphone and headphone package meant to be utilized with any recorder or interface with an XLR mic in. To connect the mic to a pc for recording or streaming, here's a couple options: B&H # FOSCARSOLO3G or B&H # AUEVO4. Please note that for best results with the interface, we would also recommend using a Cloudlifter for better signal into the interface: B&H # CLCL1.
