I canât say how waterproof these bags are, but I once carried a Domke canvas satchel full of camera gear into the rain forests of Costa Rica for days, and the only gear that got wet was the gear I took out of the bag.

Hello is it possible to fit a 13 macbook pro in there somewhere? Thank you for your help!
Short Answer: Yes. Of course it all depends what and how you pack your bag. As you know, the bag does not have a laptop sleeve. I was able to fit my 13 MacBook Pro with sleeve. Also canon 5D Mark III with Grip, 16-35mm Lens attached. 24-105mm lens in Pouch, 600 EX-RT Flash, Battery Charger and Extra Batteries. Of course all this in the main compartment. I hope this helps.

What is the vertical height available in this bag? I can read the specs, but I can't tell which dimension - width or depth - is the vertical depth that will allow a zoom to be placed in it vertically. B&H: you should make the dimensions clearer.
The vertical height is about 7 inches. However, I can get my 70200 F2 .8 in it standing up with some slight protrusion at the top. Hope this helps. Enter an answer to this question.
