The BG-C19 Battery Grip from Vello is designed for use with the Canon EOS R mirrorless camera. It accepts two Canon LP-E6NH and LP-E6N rechargeable batteries (not included) to effectively double the camera's battery life and shooting time. The BG-C19 is equipped with an alternate shutter release, multifunction button, and main and quick-control dials, as well as AF start, AE/AF lock, and AF point/magnify buttons; making the battery grip ideal for camera operation in portrait orientation. A convenient lock switch disables the controls to prevent accidentally triggering or changing settings.
The BG-C19 incorporates a USB-C charging port to allow recharging the batteries with the supplied USB-C power supply, without the need to remove them from the grip. Charge indicator LEDs show individual battery status at a glance.
The integrated PC sync port allows connection to external lighting without the need for a wireless setup, providing a strobe lighting compatibility option not native to the camera. Note: This synch port does not provide high-voltage sync protection, and is not recommended for flash units that require more than 6V.
