This PC Sync Male to 3.5mm Female Cable is a straight, 8" cable that eliminates the need to utilize a speedlight's optical sensors to synchrize with the FJ-series strobes. Simply attach the cable's male PC Sync end to a speedlight, then plug the 3.5mm male pin of the FJ-XR receiver into the cable's 3.5mm female port. The speedlight can then be triggered via the FJ-X2m wireless transmitter.

Purchased a Westcott remote trigger for my Nikon sb-800 but needed this adapter for the flash's sync port. Works just fine.

Great way to adapt other brand strobes to a wireless trigger

Not much to say besides all the connectors seem to be of good quality and connect securely. I personally used it on an SB-800, but it should be no different on anything else with a PC sync port.

Yes, if the Westcott PC Sync Male to 3.5mm Female Cable is used with the Wescott FJ-XR receiver you will be able to fire the Nikon SB-5000 speedlight within the FJ system.
