The black BYOB 9 Camera Insert from Tenba is designed to carry and protect a camera and gear inside other non-camera bags including larger backpacks, suitcases, or handbags. Its soft outer shell molds to the shape of many different types of bags. The BYOB 9 will hold a mirrorless camera or compact DSLR with 2-3 lenses and accessories. Padded interior dividers are adjustable to fit multiple configurations and the soft-brushed tricot-lined interior will not scratch your equipment. The insert features a zippered top cover that can be folded back and stowed to allow easy access to your gear plus a handle for carrying and quick removal of the insert. Stretch mesh pockets provide a place to store your phone, camera and lens accessories, or other items. The zippered interior pockets secure smaller more valuable items. In addition there are front and rear pockets for acessories and a D-ring to attach keys, a carabiner, or a tethered media wallet.

Tenba BYOB 9 Reviews
Perfect for Nikon Zf
I tried the Tenba BYOB 7 insert and it was perfect for my Nikon Z50, but it was just a tad too small for my Nikon Zf. It zipped up with zero strain, but I just didn’t care for how it bulged out a bit to fit the Zf. The BYOB 9 fits the Zf perfectly with zero bulging and a little bit of extra room for some small accessories.
Almost Perfect for a Leica M (film) Travel Kit
This little BYOB 9 insert bag holds: Leica M2 camera; 90mm Elmar lens; 50mm Summicron; 35mm Summicron; 25mm Voigtlander lens and viewfinder; Gossen Luna Pro Digital meter; filters, pen; hoods. I wish the bag were maybe 1cm longer, but the way it is is fine if a bit snug. The padding is thicker than it needs to be, and slightly thinner padding would allow more internal space. I carry film in a separate clear plastic bag and ask the TSA agents to hand inspect it, but the cameras and other travel junk can pass through the X-ray scanners. I liked the grey square check fabric used in the older BYOB bags better. It was more flexible, but this black polyester will be fine.
