I chose this because it just fits in the bottom of my smallish size backpack to protect a camera plus extra lens. It comes with a wide, nicely made strap as well, so can be used as a camera bag by itself. Tough water resistant fabric and lightweight but soft protective liner.

Great way to carry camera gear and still have the camera at ready to use. Fits really well in even smaller bags. Especially good for the Olympus OM-D cameras. I also have a BYOB 7, the smallest and it works really well even for these cameras and lenses. Well-designed, easy to move compartments around, good materials and workmanship.

Is a Nikon D750 considered a compact DSLR? Trying to find something to hold a D750, 50mm and a 24-120 for travel.
The D750 is 4.5" tall, and the BYOB 9 Camera Insert is 4" deep. So it would be a little too much. However, if you're looking for something in between the BYOB 9 and 10, the BYOB 9 DSLR Backpack insert would fit your kit. The only differences are that it has a vertical orientation, and it does not accept a shoulder strap.
