The CFexpress Type A & UHS-II SDXC Dual-Slot USB 3.2 Gen 2 Card Reader from ProGrade Digital offers a high-speed workflow to match the fast transfer speeds of their memory cards. Using this with 1 TB CFExpress Type A cards results in Finder and Photo Mechanic hanging. It never happens straight from the camera and oddly enver happens with the same type card downloading video.

When I put a cf express card in the reader for an extended period of time the card and the reader get very hot. Is this normal?
