20% may be a little too much but still amazing. Darker blacks and softer skin. Amazing halo effect on lights

I didn't trust the page at first since I hadn't heard about it, but after research, I found out it's fully trustworthy. AND it's cheaper than other websites who sell the exact sane thing. I recommend this website, and will be buying more later.

Excellent Diffusion Filter with Subtle Blooming Effect

This filter diffuses light in a very similar way to a Black Pro Mist 1/8, but it blooms the highlights more so you end up with a nice glow effect around light sources. The build quality is excellent and the filter threads are well-made, making it easy to screw additional filters or a lens hood into the outer thread. It also comes with a nice hard-case. After using Tiffen Black Pro Mist filters for years, I'm switching to the Cinebloom as I prefer the bloom effect and the quality is superior!

Love the filter - wish the threading was better

I've been using Cinebloom filters across my camera to varying degrees of success, but I've found they work fantastic on the FujiX100 series cameras. I've really love the 10% use for my daily use, it can be a strong at times. The weakest part of cinebloom filters are the filter thread builds. They are just not on the same level of Tiffen's so they can get stuck more often. Cineblooms do have a specific look and feel that tiffen black pro mist filters don't and vice versa so it's all about finding what look suits you well. For me its really come down to what works well for my everyday shots on my X100V and I've settled between the Cinebloom 10% or the Tiffen Glimmer Glass 1 depending not the situation and vibe.

10/10 purchase

The filter itself can transform your footage and create a dreamy vibe. I really can't speak highly enough about this. The threads don't feel abrasive when installing on a lens, like some cheaper filters do. The hard case is comes with is very convenient and great quality. Things you get: -filter -filter case (great quality) -lens cloth

Fantastic filter and great place to order for Canadians

Great filter and adds a noticeable but minor bloom to lights. I think 10% is a great amount so that you can achieve the effect without it overpowering the photo. I also think B&H is a great site to order from as a Canadian as they have shipping options specific to Canada as opposed to other sites that treat Canada as a general International country.

I like how this filter takes the edge off my super sharp sony glass and adds some bloom to the light source in my images for great tone and character to my street shots.

Do you use diffusion filters such as this one in conjunction with a UV filter, or without it?
Asked by: Michael
I usually use the diffusion filter alone, without a UV filter. That is because if you stack filters there is a greater chance of getting reflections and ghosting.

What's the difference between this filter and a Black Pro Mist Filter? Is it fair to compare them?
Asked by: Camilo
The effect is very similar with the Moment Cinebloom filters. The CineBloom diffusion filter takes the edge off your digital sensor. It not only catches and blooms light, but softens hard edges and has a smoothing effect on skin tones, making wrinkles less noticeable.

If I'm using a VND, does it matter if I put the Cinebloom in front of the lens or in front of the VND?
Asked by: Kelvin
If your variable neutral density (VND) filter has 58mm filter threads on the front of the filter, then no, it should not matter if you place the Moment 58mm CineBloom Diffusion Filter (10% Density) in front of the VND filter or if you place the VND filter in front of the Moment 58mm CineBloom Diffusion Filter (10% Density).
