Key Features
  • Arca-Type Compatible
  • Double-Dovetail Design
  • Black and Silver Anodized Surface
  • 6061-T6 Aluminum-Constructed Aluminum
The KLP-360 Quick Release Lens Plate for Select Lenses from Kirk is Arca-type compatible with a double-dovetail design. The 6061-T6 aluminum-constructed plate has a black anodized surface and the anti-twist lip is silver anodized, which makes them tough against scratches and scuffs. The reversible lip can be mounted with a 90 or 30° angle, for a snug fit against the tripod collar foot on the lens, and this feature helps to keep a tighter fit, which prevents the lens foot from pivoting while mounted to the plate. The single 1/4"-20 mounting screw is used to attach the plate to the lens's tripod foot, and the three additional 1/4"-20 mounting sockets are for optional mounting positions on a tripod. The two integrated safety stops prevent the plate from sliding out if a quick release assembly is accidentally opened, and the industry-standard QD socket allows you to carry the lens with a shoulder or sling strap.

Is there a way to add a second screw?
Asked by: Joshua
You can add another screw to the Kirk KLP-360 Quick Release Lens Plate for Select Lenses. Chances are it will not fit the lens; the space is not that wide. Another 1/4 screw for that plate is the Kirk 1/4"-20 x 1/2" Captive Screw for Lens Plates, BH #KILPS1 (https://bhpho.to/48jYVvP).

Will this work with Nikon 89-400 f/4.5-5.6 G ED VR lens?
Asked by: Vernon
Yes, the Kirk KLP-360 Quick Release Lens Plate for Select Lenses will be a great fit for Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 80-400mm f/4.5-5.6G ED VR Lens tripod foot. You can slide the screw on the plate to meet the threads on the lens foot, while keeping the anti- twist flenge tight on the back of the lens foot.
