Fast Wi-Fi
The WAX610Y is designed to deliver 802.11ax Wi-Fi speeds of up to 1800 Mb/s over the 2.4 and 5 GHz frequencies. It uses technologies such as OFDMA and MU-MIMO to help provide reliable speed and coverage for up to 30 concurrent users in congested environments such as schools, hotels, restaurants, and conference centers.

With its P2i nano-coating and IP55 rating, this outdoor access point resists water, dust, long sun exposure, snow, hail, frost, and more.
Enterprise Level Security
Your network is secured with WPA3 encryption, while support for eight wireless network IDs (SSIDs) and multiple VLANs to provide separate access to your employees, guests, and more.
Quick Setup
Connect the WAX610Y to a PoE-compatible network switch or router through its 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet port for power and data. Hardware is included to mount this access point onto a wall or round pole.
Insight Management
A 1-year subscription to the Netgear Insight cloud management platform is included with the WAX610Y. With it, you can configure and monitor your network from almost anywhere in the world via the mobile app or web-based portal. You can also perform tasks such as monitor Wi-Fi activity, receive downtime notifications, reboot devices, and upgrade their firmware.

Once you figure out how to get it set up properly it works as advertised. It comes with zero documentation. The manual I downloaded from Netgear provides 3 methods for accessing the AP. The menus in the manual do not track with what is presented. (I used ARP to figure out its IP address and then logged in. ) Not for the faint of heart, but I definitely did not want a Chinese made AP.
