SmallRig MD2418 Reviews

OK for Video, Not for Stills

Purchased to secure tether cables to a camera cart for stills shooting. Not great for this application. There is not enough clearance for thicker tether cables and even with thinner ones, the spring tension is not quite enough to keep the cable locked in. Works better for it's normal application, which would be as a cable guide on a video rig.

Easier than the stock cable protectors

I use this on a SmallRig l-bracket instead of the stock cable guide for the EOS-R5. It's a much cleaner and easier to use setup.
