for older Android devices, is there a usb-c to 3.5mm adapter available?
Unfortunately, you cannot convert the digital USB-C output to a 3.5mm TRRS analog connection to make this mic work with other smartphones. I would recommend a mic with a 3.5mm TRRS connection, such as the Comica Audio CVM-VM10-K1 Camera-Mount Shotgun Microphone with Grip Handle for Smartphones, BH #COCVMVM10K1.

I'm curious if this could work with a phone on the DJI osmo OM4 gimbal? could it balance the phone and would the mic w foam cover get in the way of the gimbal arm?
There may be problems with balance as well as with the mic getting in the way of the gimbal arm when the mic is attached to the phone.
