Purchased to assure uninterrupted power for more than four-hour portrait session. Used the adapter in FJ200 main light (w/36in parabolic soft box/diffuser). Virtually no recycle delays (at "med" power). Used a second FJ200 with rechargeable battery (w/25 in reflector umbrella/diffuser) at "low" power for fill light requiring most of two batteries during the same session. Only downside is that it (of course) requires an AC outlet.
