So far, so good. My only concern is if the plastic clips may snap or break off at some point. This may never happen, it's just something I'll watch for as a possibility.
This grid for the Fj400 does exactly what it is supposed to do. It is modestly priced and a must have item for the strobe. This grid is a two piece design consisting of a grid that inserts to plastic retaining ring that snaps onto the standard Fj400 reflector that comes with the light. The only con is, it's a bit difficult to snap it on and off. Every time I have to use it I am afraid a retaining ring tab is going to snap off.
