Ideal for hair lighting or as an accent light, the FJ200 Snoot with Honeycomb Grid from Westcott mounts to the front of the FJ200 and narrows its wide beam into a tight soft-edged circle while eliminating spill light and providing the directional control that enables selective lighting. The further away from the subject, the larger the beam's diameter and conversely, the closer it is the smaller its diameter. Westcott includes a removable 10-degree grid for shooters who require narrower, more precise illumination. An FJ80 Magnetic Mounting Ring is included.

I own many of Westcott products and have grown to trust their products over other mid-priced brands; however, this accessory does not mount to either the FJ200 or the magnetic mounting ring for the FJ80. By sight, this product doesn't appear in any way bent or damaged. It seems that the mount on this snoot was poorly fabricated. I would hope this defective product is only one exception among a lot of those manufactured. Time will tell. I will order another copy and see for myself.
