Add quick release functionality for your camera with your DJI RS 2, RSC 2, RS 3, RS 3 Pro, RS 4, or RS 4 Pro gimbal and SmallRig camera cage with this Arca-Type Quick Release Plate. SmallRig 3154 Overview

Add quick release functionality for your camera with your DJI RS 2, RSC 2, RS 3, RS 3 Pro, RS 4, or RS 4 Pro gimbal and SmallRig camera cage with this Arca-Type Quick Release Plate. The lightweight aluminum plate attaches to the bottom of a SmallRig camera cage with the two included 1/4"-20 screws and can fit in a standard Arca-type base. The plate is slightly longer than the original plate and is designed for wider cameras, such as the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6K or 4K, that tend to twist when mounted on a plate with a single screw. The plate mounts onto the gimbal's original Arca-type mount.

The plate has an open-middle design so you can access the camera mounting screw through the plate. This design allows the plate to stay attached to the cage, and you can easily unmount the camera from the cage to move it between the gimbal and a tripod or other rigs. The plate features rubber pads on top to protect the camera cage from scratches.

The 2 screws on this mount are a great improvement from my other mount. The previous with one screw mount would eventually come lose after a long shoot causing the camera to slightly turn and give me errors on the gimbal.

Does this work with the DJI QR plate included ...

Does this work with the DJI QR plate included with the RS2? Or will I have to buy the smallrig plate for it to work?

Yes, It will work with the included RS2 plate. The DJI RSC 2 has two layers of quick-release plates. The lower quick-release plate is compatible with Manfrotto Standard, allowing it to be mounted to a tripod compatible with Manfrotto Standard. The upper quick-release plate is compatible with the Arca-Swiss Standard.

There is no need for this quick release since the SmallRig Half Cage for Sony FX3 already has a Arca Swiss compatible bottom on it.

Yes, the SmallRig Arca-Type Quick Release plate will support the DJI RS3 Pro gimbal. The plate will work with the following gimbal models DJI RSC 2,DJI RS 3 Pro, DJI RS 2, and DJI RS 3

Would this work with a Tilta full cage on a BMPCC 6K? I need something with two mounting points because the camera jitters with the included RS2 plate.

no it will not. this is made specifically for certain SmallRig cages. We do not recommend this plate for Tilta products.
