question
Is this flash compatible with pocket wizards?
Yongnuo's radio system will not work with PocketWizard radio system, but if the flash has a built-in PC or sync terminal, you can connect PocketWizard remotes to the flash. If not, then they would need B&H # WIHSFM3 or B&H # IMMHSF1PW to connect the PocketWizard radio remote to the flash. Then it would work like normal.

question
I see in the overview that there is a socket for the SF-18C or SF-17C external power packs. These have gone out of production and I can't find them anywhere. Is there any other external power pack that is compatible with these flashes?
Being that this flash has a high voltage connection similar to those found on Canon speedlites, you could use the Bolt Cyclone PP-310 Compact Power Pack and BO-CZ Canon Flash Cable Kit B&H # BOPP310Q, as an alternative to the discontinued SF-18C and SF-17C battery packs. You would still need AA batteries in the flash to operate functions such as the LCD display. Please see the link below for reference.
