Domke FA-140 Reviews

Excellent Sturdy Strap

I carry my desktop PC to and from the office every day, It weighs about 25lbs (maybe more, definitely felt like more before I got this strap). I have it in what looks like a glorified hot/cold bag that I got off of Amazon. The bag is fine, but the strap was thin, cutting into my shoulder, and I didn't trust the hardware. I paired this with a Tenba Tools Memory Foam Shoulder Pad and I feel extremely secure with the load now - and MUCH more comfortable. It's cheap insurance to protect $3000+ worth of PC. If I carried a traditional camera bag I'd slap this on it right away. The extra 8-10 of length versus most other straps was a huge selling point too as it makes it easy for me to sling cross-body. Will definitely consider Domke when it comes time to replace my camera bag or any future gear bags.

domke, yummy

when it comes to cameras, lenses etc, i don't favour any particular brand: i just use what gets the job done. but when it comes to bags and carrying straps, i always use domke. their stuff feels best, looks best and - works.

question

Will this fit F-803 Military Green/Brown Trim bag? And will it match it's color (not leather, but the sand/tan bands)?
Asked by: Oleksii
This strap will fit and we feel the tan will be a good match.

Will this strap work as a replacement strap on the F6 bag? The problem is that the original strap on the F6 is sewn on.

question

I need a strap that has the metal hardware, like the original for the FX5B. The photo looks right, but the description says plastic. What's up?
Asked by: Anonymous
The strap I bought over a year ago were all metal and strap. The clips shown in the current picture look different and may be better. Mine came 'unclipped' once when twisted.
