The LUT7S PRO 7" Ultra Bright HDMI/3G-SDI Field Monitor from FeelWorld features a sharp 323 ppi display and supports SD, HD, UHD, and DCI 4K video. This HDMI monitor has an integrated L-series battery slot and comes with a dummy battery plate that allows you to mount and power optional accessories, such as wireless transmitters or receivers with an L-series battery slot. The LCD panel boasts a 1920 x 1200 resolution, 16:10 aspect ratio, 1200:1 contrast ratio, and a 2200 cd/m² measured brightness for easy viewing outdoors as well as indoors. If I had a signal from an SDI wireless to this device, could it also passthrough the video through hdmi to a larger tv?
No it can not. This monitor does not cross convert from SDI to HDMI. if you go in via SDI you have to go out via SDI.

Greetings! I just purchased and received the FeelWorld LUT7S PRO 7" Ultra Bright HDMI/3G-SDI Field Monitor with F970 Plate. I'm not getting any audio out of the 3.5mm jack. I did the full range of troubleshooting. I used the SDI and HDMI outputs from the camera, and the picture is great, the audio meter is showing the proper modulated signal, but no sound from the headphones. Yes, the headphones are good. I went into the menu on this monitor and enabled the Embedded Audio. Hmmm, what's up?
Make sure you do not have the audio mute feature turned on in the monitor.

I just bought this thing and it works on my ...
I just bought this thing and it works on my consumer vdeo camera and my dslr but with my new canon XF400 it only works if the camera is in the XF-AVC mode and not the MP4 mode. AND only in 60p. If I try in mp4 30p is says there is no HDMI signal. It also gets extremely hot. Is this unit defective?
The display will get hot at max brightness. Also you should check your output and see if it matches what the display will accept as framerates.

They are essentially the same monitor but the Pro version makes mounting and powering accessories easier.
The standard vision has 2 battery slots for powering the monitor for extended periods of time. the Pro Version swaps out one of the battery slots for a dummy battery. This allows you to mount and power accessories that use NP-F Style batteries at the same time.
An example of this is a wireless transmitter. On the LUT 7 Monitor you would need to purchase an articulating arm to mount the transmitter and an additional battery to power it. On the LUT 7 Pro you could mount the transmitter on the NP-F dummy battery built into the monitor solving both the mounting and powering at the same time.
