Wireless Shutter Release
Wirelessly trigger a camera and take single or continuous shots. This is a simple way to capture images without having to touch the camera. This freedom is useful for photographing wildlife or for macro photography, and for long exposures where it is necessary to eliminate any chance of camera shake.
Wired Shutter Release
In addition to wireless triggering, the camera can be triggered manually by pressing the button on the receiver unit
Single and Continuous Shooting Modes
Capture images individually or shoot in bursts
Four-Second Delay
The four second delay function makes it possible to step into the frame when shooting selfies or group portraits. it is also useful in macro photography when trying to eliminate vibrations caused by mirror movement in a DSLR
Bulb Mode
Use Bulb mode to take long-exposure photos by setting the camera to bulb mode and use the remote to open and close the camera's shutter. This mode is ideal for shooting star-trails and blurring rivers and waterfalls
16 Wireless Channels
Sixteen available wireless channels enable setting the transmitter and receiver to operate on individually selectable channels in areas with high digital interference
Remote Shutter Release Cable
The included Remote Shutter Release Cable features a Multi-Terminal / micro-USB connector compatible with select Sony cameras. Please consult the camera user manual for the individual camera being used. NOTE: Not compatible with Sony/Minolta-type cameras.

Great for Remote Cameras at Sporting Events

The trigger works great as a remote trigger for my remote cameras at sporting events. I have used two receivers with a single transmitter and that has worked well. I wish the trigger button was an on-off switch, but that is a small thing. The bulb mode for continuous shooting is great for sports. I also found a cord elsewhere that would allow this remote to work with a Sony a6700, despite that camera only having a USB-C port and not a Sony multi-terminal port (only allows manual focus though) Also, don't sleep on the range of these remotes. Something like 300 feet is great for my use cases at sports.
