Does the 11.8 85mm Canon lens hood clip directly onto the lens or do you need the screw in ring to lock it on
This lens hood fits directly onto the 85 mm lens with a simple, gentle push. There are two push points on its sides to assist in removing it. The hood works great re flare and is firm enough to also help protect the lens. It can be carried in reverse on the lens when not in use. It's a very good product!!!
