Wonderful matte paper! Solid brightness, good color and depth for a matte paper. Similar to Hahnemuhle Photo Rag 308, but a bit brighter and smoother. Feels great too. One of my favorites.
BE WARNED DON'T BUY FROM B+H

TLDR: B+H has really poor customer service First off I want to say that this Paper is fantastic. It is a paper that I love and use often for projects and prints. Beautiful matte paper with incredible color gamut and brightness. If I am using a matte paper it is this paper. However the reason for the 1/5 stars is entirely due to B+H shipping me 2 damaged boxes of said paper. One 11x17box and one 8.5x11box, both with 25 sheets each. Likely both damaged during shipping as the damage appears to be the same in both boxes a visible crease about 3 in on the long side of the sheets of paper. I received both boxes of papers (8.5x11 and 11x17) shipped in the same shipping box on 9/3/25. The Canson boxes containing the papers didn't have any noticeable signs of damage so I set the boxes on my shelf for use the following week. I had a project involving myself and another artist performing artistic interventions on printed photos that was scheduled for 9/12/25 so on 9/11/25 I unboxed the paper to make some prints for the upcoming production the following day. Come to find out that at least half of the sheets from the 11x17 box had visible creases on them, as did a handful of the 8.5x11 sheets. Because I was on a tight timeline I elected to use the least damaged sheets from the bottom of the stacks as I didn't have time to do a straight refund/replacement. I made due with what I had and put on my to do list to follow up with B+H and see what they would do about it. So after a busy weekend/week I reached out yesterday 9/17/25 via phone and was told someone would follow up with me via email with instructions to send pictures of the damages paper by the end of the day. That did not happen. I called back this morning (9/18/25) to see what the deal was and the rep was able to email me with instructions/an email address to send the photos to. I sent the attached pictures and received this response: Hello Richard, my name is XXXXXXXX: Thank you for contacting the Customer Service Department at B&H Photo Video and Pro Audio. My apologies, unfortunately we needed to be contacted within 3 business days after delivery. Please let me know if you require any further assistance. Thank you, we appreciate your business. My intent and I even expressed it on the phone wasn't to get a full refund (though admittedly that would have gone a long way in the good will column) but to see if B+H would do anything to compensate for the damage caused on their end. I mentioned I will continuously need to purchase this stock of paper thinking maybe they might give me a 50% off my next order or a prorated % off my damaged order kind of thing. Instead, they elected to attempt to hide behind an 3 business day policy for notification of damage caused by shipping. For the record I responded by saying I was dissatisfied and they then sent me a label for return, which still may be an issue because as I said I have used a number of sheets from both packs. At any rate, I had to hold their feet to the fire to even begin getting any sort of reasonable response from their so-called customer service department and I am sharing this as a big warning about using B+H for paper products and probably anything really. There are plenty of other retailers that sell this paper, you can check Canson's website. And if you do end up ordering from B+H make sure to inspect your packages fully the moment you get them because it seems like the company policy to try and hide behind arbitrary fine print policies in order not to take accountability for their mess ups. Total bummer since I've been a customer since 2018, but either way I hope this review will help someone. Going forward B+H will be an emergency option only for supplies and equipment and I'll be sure to pass this experience on to my photo communities. Good luck!
