Gabor DM-552 Overview

Reclaim some of your desktop space with the Gabor Levitouch Dual-Arm Desktop Monitor Mount. It features two two-section arms with adjustable spring tension that supports two 17 to 32" displays weighing up to 19.8 lb each with 75 x 75 or 100 x 100mm VESA patterns. A low-profile clamp and base attaches to desks and tables up to 3.1" thick and will fit into most tight spaces, like a cubicle. With 21" of arm extension, you can place your monitors as close as you like; for deeper tabletops, grommet mounting hardware is included for mid-desk attachment.

This monitor stand provides swivel and tilt adjustment for optimal monitor placement and 180° of rotation for easy switching from landscape to portrait orientation. With 6.9 to 17.1" of height adjustment, you can place your monitors exactly where you want. Integrated cable management helps keep your cables organized and your desktop looking neat.

I used the edge clamp style install, but it also includes a Grommet install option as an alternative. The arms come in two pieces that easily install in seconds. Once the monitors were hung, it was easy to adjust for height, side to side, depth, and rotation. I ended up gaining several inches of desk space back from the previous setup! Most of the adjustments have lock/set screws, so once you find that perfect spot you won't easily bump the monitors out of position. There's even a spot to store the included hex keys on the back of the base so you won't lose them! [I received this product in exchange for my honest review.]

This dual arm monitor mount is just what I wanted. I have a rather small desk that I use for my video editing, so I wanted to conserve as much desk space as possible. To be able to use two monitors with clamps, instead of the regular monitor bases, is perfect. Normal monitor stands (feet) are way too bulky. This freed up a ton of room for me on the tabletop. And we all know you can never have too much space for computer accessories, external hard drives etc.. Having the flexibility to adjust the arms is also very helpful and an additional benefit for me. This lets me swivel, tilt and rotate the monitors to whatever position I want. I use this feature way more than I expected too. I can even go to a portrait orientation very easily if I wanted. I haven't done this yet, but it is nice to have the option, especially for coding. The build quality is good, and the arms feel secure and it's holding my monitors with ease. It has a way to manage your cables and has a nice clean look. Overall, I'm very pleased with this dual-arm monitor mount and I'm happy to preserve all the space on my desktop. No, the Gabor Levitouch Dual-Arm Desktop Monitor Mount for Two 17 to 32" Displays (B&H # GADM552) should ideally have 2" of horizontal distance to clamp from the side of a desk.
