Great adapter

Does what it says on the tin. The adapter is a solid bit of metal and preserves infinity focus as expected. It's very simple without any odd aperture controls or unnecessary features: you just mount a lens and shoot. The finish is very nice and looks especially good with AI and AI-s lenses. Mount is maybe a little tight on the Nikon side, but nothing that makes me worry about breaking things. Manual focus Nikon lenses are great on my R6 II, everything from auto exposure to IBIS works flawlessly. AF and AF-D lenses with a direct manual focus ring are great too, since they're also perfectly good AI-s lenses. Any G or E lenses are of course useless, as they don't have an aperture ring and will only shoot stopped down all the way; these modern lenses are best adapted to a Nikon camera with the FTZ anyway.

Don’t trust this adapter

This adapter makes me very nervous. I bought it for a Voightlander lens to be used on a Canon body. It looks like it has a pin to lock it in place (which doesn’t appear to work). It looks like the lens will easily fall off. May look for another adapter or will have to use with a different camera.

So the lens would have to be used manually?

The Urth Manual Lens Mount Adapter for Nikon F Lens to Canon RF-Mount Camera Body is a manual adapter. The lens will not autofocus. And if the lens does not have an f/stop ring you will not have aperture control.
